TME’s offer now includes the new KTO 111 and KTS 111 series thermostats by Stego, which in the future are to replace the very popular KTO 011 and KTS 011 series products. They are familiar to installers and mechanics working in the field of industrial automation, as they are most often used in air-conditioning systems for control cabinets. With customer feedback in mind, Stego's designers have introduced several improvements to the new design of mechanical thermostats. As a result the Stego range remains a group of advanced and competitive solutions available in the TME catalogue.
One unquestionable improvement is the relocation of the connection terminals from the bottom to the front of the device, thanks to which the user now has a direct access to the terminals. The terminals themselves have also been changed from traditional (screw) to self-clamping (spring) ones, which ensures constant pressure on the leads and prevents them from becoming loose. This shortens the assembly time – which is very important in serial production.
The most visible change is the larger setting knob. Thanks to its size, the user can easily read the selected value and set the thermostat's tripping temperature more accurately.

One of the things that have not changed is the size of the new thermostats. The KTO 111 / KTS 111 series products remain compact devices, available in a wide range of setting temperatures (both in °C and °F). What is crucial, they are approved by most important certification agencies: UL, VDE and EAC.
